Bedfordshire Domestic Abuse Partnership

The partnership brings together key agencies across the county to raise awareness about domestic abuse and unhealthy relationships, to deliver services to support those affected by abuse and to work together to improve local response. 

They wanted to create an animation to showcase a poetry piece written by Tene Edwards, which aims to uplift and and empower anyone affected by domestic abuse, which they could share online as part of 16 Days of Action. The animation uses a variety of hand-drawn type set against different backgrounds, which shift in tone as the piece progresses - becoming brighter and more optimistic in the second half to visually represent the idea of a changing perspective, and new ways of thinking.
